To start your search
 
1. To start your search you will need to select the area of the map where you would like to search for childcare. If you are using a kiosk, you can select an area by touching the map. If you are on the Internet you place the pointer over the area on the map and click your left mouse button. Continue to select your required area on the maps until you come to the local childcare information service.
 
2. Once you arrive at the local Childcare information service you can now search for specific information. You do this by selecting the white buttons across the top of the page.
 
The navigation buttons
 




The navigation buttons are there to help you move directly to the topic of your choice. You choose a topic by touching the button or by clicking with your left mouse button.

Q. The whole of the page does not appear. I have to scroll to see the rest of the page?
A. If you need to use your scroll bars to view the rest of the page it is likely that your screen resolution needs changing. To view this site it should be set to 800 x 600 this will ensure maximum viewing capacity. You will be able to change your screen resolution in the settings/display section of your computer.
 
Q. When I try to search for childcare an error message appears and I cannot continue with my search.
A. This website has been designed using a level 4 browser. We recommend you use a browser of least the same capability. If you are using a level 3 browser or earlier version you not be able to use the search for childcare or immediate vacancy search options. You can download a level 4 or 5 browser from the Internet free of charge.
